Love Story #1: Rory & Rebecca's Maui Wedding

We jetted off to Maui for the first destination wedding I've ever been to (well, since my mom and stepdad's wedding in the 90's). The wedding itself was perfect, and I couldn't have asked for a better set of songs on the dance floor (the best part of the night!) A few days later we went on a family hike to Iao Valley and got caught in a tropical rain storm. It was foggy, rainy and grey, which is what made it gorgeous. I also got spoiled with tons of delicious home-cooked food each night (never ate at a restaurant!) It was truly an amazing vacation!

 

 

 

 

LOVE STORY #2: KAYLENE & JUNNIE'S BABY SHOWER

I can't believe I am actually typing this, but the second love story I'm featuring in my blog is that of my best friend (since 5th grade), Kaylene, and her soon-to-be son! My beautiful mom, sister, and I had so much fun at the adorable, dinosaur-themed baby shower celebration at Boulder Ridge Golf Course. Kaylene is a glowing mother-to-be (her fiance Junnie is a glowing soon-to-be-daddy) and it was probably the most elegant baby shower I've ever attended. From yummy food, to fun baby games, to laughing with Kaylene (and her 2 gorgeous sisters whom I've known since they were little kiddos), it was a once in a lifetime event for one of my best friends in the world. Can't wait to meet my future nephew!
