3 Generations Hit the Pacific Northwest

What began as a simple trip to Portland for a few days turned into a fun-filled, adventure-packed holiday! My grandma, mom, and I had a blast spontaneously road-tripping to Seattle, venturing around Portland with my best friend Diana, eating amazing food, and loving the hipster culture. Highlights of the trip included:

  • Exploring Pike's Place Market (SO overwhelming - loved all the smells and vibrant colors)
  • Seeing the original Starbucks (SO cool!)
  • Seeing the bubble gum wall (I've always been fascinated with it)
  • Space Needle!
  • Going to the Panama Hotel in Seattle Japantown (where one of my favorite books of all time took place)
  • Reuniting with my Singapore exchange bestie, Diana
  • Getting our zen on at the Japanese Rose Garden
  • Going to the Pittock Mansion
  • Eating at Prasad

We did so much -- but what I'll remember the most are the small moments we all spent laughing and chatting in our hotel room, over dinners, and on our long road trip to Seattle. I absolutely *love* the Pacific Northwest culture, lifestyle, and vibes - I'm so happy I got to experience it with some of my favorites!
