D+J Hit San Jose

When your bestie and her husband fly down from Portland to stay with you for less than 48 hours, you know it's gonna be a crazy fun time! I'm still cracking up inside my head from all the jokes and "moments" that we had together last weekend. Diana and John are literally the coolest and most hilarious couple, and their sense of humor matches Derek's, so the entire time we were together was basically a series of ridiculous hypothetical jokes... :-P

We started off with game night/taco night, which was both entertaining and delicious to say the least! On Sunday we went on a beautiful walk/hike, explored Google campus (rode bikes, went down slides, etc), ate Sweet Greens (best salads EVER), and visited downtown Palo Alto. Although it was a simple day, we had so much fun just chatting and laughing. The best times in life are when you're able to do the simplest things with people you love and truly enjoy being around.

My parents were so wonderful to host them over the weekend and treat them like VIP guests. Everyone totally loved spending time together, and it is by far one of the most special and memorable weekends that I'll always remember. Someday soon we will head up to Portland to visit our favorite couple and continue the double date fun!
