Yoga, Zoodles & Sunshine

We are officially homeowners of a beautiful condo now and couldn't be happier! Although the moving process is stressful, it's also rewarding and exciting. The area we live in now is surrounded by beautiful parks and streets, so my early morning runs just got that much better.

Moving into a new place has been a chance to start fresh, get rid of the old, and bring in the new. Completely changing my surroundings has left me feeling lighter and with a renewed sense of energy. Change can be daunting, but it is so, so good for the mind, heart, and soul.

So far, this summer has been one for the books. Aside from the new place, I've made some amazing new friends, upped my yoga game, bought a zucchini noodle machine (zoodles are my new obsession), and have spent so much time with family.

I mean it when I say I've been doing a lot more yoga lately. Not only do my friend Morgan and I do yoga in the park every Saturday after our runs, I've also been taking frequent, short breaks each day at work to do some yoga stretches and breathing exercises. It's amazing how a few minutes of that throughout a day can be so beneficial. The more I do it, the more time I have to stop, reflect, and realize one simple truth: I am so fortunate to have the life that I have, and people that I love so much in it.

Happy summer! xoxo
