Randomness!

There is just no way of coming up with a theme for this next blog post so I'm going to embrace the randomness of it all! From Taylor Swift, to Mother's Day, to preschool graduation, these past few weeks have been full of some pretty special moments. Not captured is me running a 10k race yesterday in Morgan Hill (my legs are so dead!) and today making tofu veggie ramen with my mom and sis. We didn't manage to snap any pics, but it was so fun to make together and absolutely delicious! Xoxo

Taylor Swift

A few months ago, 99.7 was giving out free Taylor Swift concert tickets and after calling in literally 9402840220 times, I WON! It was hands down one of the happiest moments of my life. I never win anything so I could not contain my excitement. My friend from work even heard me on the radio and I was just squealing the whole time. Matt also won a pair for him and my mom, so the four of us got to go together. The seats were AMAZING and Taylor Swift is everything - I have no words to explain how awesome she is. Long story short, it was definitely worth staying up past my usual 8pm bedtime ;)

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day this year, we had a family lunch at Crepevine in downtown Mountain View. As usual the food was yummy and it was great having my sis in town too. No better way to celebrate my beautiful mom! I also got her and I tickets to go see the play "A Thousand Splendid Suns" this summer in SF and we are both so excited!

Preschool Graduation

It was so cute watching Mercy graduate from preschool. Still can't believe she's going to be in kindergarten soon. She loved playing at the playground with all her friends, and when she got her "diploma" the teaches quoted her as wanting to be a baker when she grows up, because she "likes to bake cakes". The cutest!
