Charleston & Savannah Trip

My mom and I went for a really fun girls trip to the South last week. It was so special and I loved having quality time together. Not only did we explore new places and learn new things about American history, we also had such meaningful conversations and so many laughs. This trip will always hold a special place in my heart, because it was spent with someone who holds such a special place in my heart. We could have been in the middle of nowhere and it would have been the best time, but being able to adventure together amongst the charm and beauty of Charleston and Savannah felt like an added bonus.

We saw and did so much, despite the humidity and temperamental weather. We even got to squeeze in a day trip to Savannah, Georgia. Now I have an understanding of what people mean when they say that the South is charming - there really is something very unique and beautiful about that part of the world!

This trip reminded me that it’s not about where you are, but who you are with; that letting go of expectations and perfection is the only way to really enjoy the moment; and when it rains, it pours… but don’t let that stop you from having fun :-) Xoxo
