December Festivities

Time at Home

I flew back to the bay area for a short trip to see the fam in December. It was quite the whirlwind of a trip balancing work while at home, but I loved getting to hang with my mom and Matt. My favorite night was when we played trivia. I also loved getting my all-time favorite acai bowl (IYKYK), getting the best gift of all time for my nephews (Santa-in-the-box; best $34 I’ve ever spent in my life), seeing all my grandparents, watching Tristan perform a Golden Globe performance in his school Christmas play, treating my mom to a gorgeous hair blowout transformation of a lifetime, seeing some fabulous friends from work, and surprising Lorena with her DWTS gift. There truly is no place like home!

Christmas in NYC

We had a lovely, quiet, cozy, snowy and absolutely freezing Christmas in the city. We went to the movies twice (such a luxury!), walked a lot in the snow, did a tour of the UN (so neat!), playing lots of trivia at home, and I gave my sis the greatest gift she could ever hope for: a sweatshirt with Rocket’s face stitched onto it. I also signed up for the gym and started swimming laps again in the early mornings — feels so good! Overall, it was a lovely way to spend the holiday and I’m nostalgic just thinking about it!
