Valentine & Birthday Love

The past few weekends have been pretty jam-packed between Valentine's day, babies being born, birthdays being celebrated, and seeing family before I leave the country! On Valentine's day we went on my favorite hike followed by (of course) yummy smoothies :)

Over my birthday weekend, we had a blast taking Mercy to see Frozen on Ice. She wore her little Elsa dress that I got her, and she was basically mesmerized through the entire show. She was very focused and serious, carefully watching the characters. When she got home later that night, she apparently started dancing around singing "let it go" at the top of her lungs. But, my favorite part was in the beginning when we first got there -- she gave me a big hug and sat on my lap. It was the cutest thing. 

After the show we met my family at Crepevine for dinner. Malia and Mercy both came which was so much fun! Derek also had the most gorgeous flowers delivered to our apartment, with a note that simply read: 'Happy birthday, beautiful' :) 

On the day of my 27th birthday, we went on yet another hike and completely spent the day relaxing since we had been running around the day before. One of the best surprises was that our new niece, Mallory, was born on my birthday! Rory & Rebecca welcomed her early in the morning on the 21st. Mercy and Jesse are going to love playing with their new cousin! Newborns always melt my heart, and we are so excited to meet her soon and hold her! Xoxo
