Squad Goals

This weekend it was all about our younger siblings! We wined and dined (ok, just dined) our little siblings all weekend and I have to say, I love them each so much. We took the first squad (AKA Sophia & Luke) out to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen to celebrate Sophia's 15th birthday. We had a blast chatting about our families and joking about life in general. Both of them are so sweet and funny and such great kids - I can't believe how much they have grown since I first met them. They were so small and now Sophia has passed me in height and Luke is well on his way!

We also took the second squad (AKA Samantha & Sunny) out to dinner to celebrate Sam's 19th birthday (and my 28th birthday too). Despite the freezing cold weather and rain, Sam and I braved the cold, wore our sleeveless dresses, and got the photos we've been wanting at "The Wall" at Santana Row. The things we will do for a good photo op! Apparently this wall is pretty famous and I just love all the colors. We ended the evening with Pressed Freeze, literally the best non-dairy "ice cream" in the world. All in all, it was the joint birthday celebration of my dreams, filled with all of my favorite things (including the people, the colorful photos, my big green salad for dinner, and non-dairy ice cream for dessert!)

As I sit here listening to the rain (it is pouring), I'm reflecting on our adorable younger siblings and feeling like my heart is so full. They are each so special to me!
