Besties for the Resties

Last weekend my best friend Diana and her husband John visited us in San Jose and it was literally non-stop laughs the entire time. After picking them up at 8:30am from the airport, we immediately went to Los Gatos Creek Trail to hike, followed by a delicious lunch at Whole Foods. From there, we went to their hotel (the Fairmont in downtown San Jose) and spent the rest of the afternoon swimming and tanning. It was AMAZING. It felt really weird to do touristy things in my hometown! That evening, we went to dinner at my mom's, where we had 5 different salads and hung out, took millions of group pics (some slightly corny), and reminisced on Diana's traumatic China experience. It's still crazy to think that 7 years ago we met by chance in Singapore on an exchange program, and now here we are, besties for the resties :-) Xoxo
