Family BBQ

A few weeks ago we had a little summer get-together that involved some good family time and some big delicious salads (aka my dream meal). Gong Gong, Poa Poa, and Uncle Ben are all in town right now, so it was great seeing them and catching up! I also did some interviews with Gong Gong and Poa Poa and recorded them so that we always have their life stories on video. It was a fun project and I learned so much about them that I never knew before, like their boat ride to SF from Hong Kong took 21 days back when they first came here. Just goes to show how much braver and stronger our earlier generations are compared to us :)

Mercy Turns FIVE!

It's hard to believe that Mercy is already FIVE! She has grown up so fast and it was so fun celebrating her. Her birthday was at Sky High and we spent almost the full 2 hours jumping on trampolines and throwing balls at each other. It was fun having the kiddos and cousins from all sides together in one place, which I know was what Mercy really wanted!

We also had her sleep over Friday night, and we just hung out and watched Wreck-it Ralph (her new favorite movie) and then took her to Gilroy Gardens the next day which was a blast! She absolutely loved all of the rides and especially loved the water oasis park. It was super hot out which made for the perfect summer outing with this little munchkin!
