Perfect Saturday in the City

Yesterday involved so many of my favorite things: pedis/manis, seeing an amazing play adapted from one of my favorite books, big delicious salads, hot cocoa, and the best part... my mom! For my mom's birthday back in June I got her tickets to see A Thousand Splendid Suns in SF, and decided to make a whole girls day out of it because why not? I booked us pedicures at the cutest spa, and then we found the most delicious salad place by Union Square called Mixt. We were so excited to see the play and it did not disappoint! Not only were we literally in the front row, the play itself was absolutely incredible and so emotionally charged... many people were in tears at the end. It was an incredibly insightful book/play and one I'll never forget. I absolutely love days like this where my mom and I have all day to laugh, talk and just enjoy our favorite things together. I am so grateful for her. Xoxo
