So Cal Adventures & Life Lately

It’s been a minute since I last posted! This last month was full of work, some family, some traveling, but mostly work, so there wasn’t too much to update. I’ve been living my best auntie life per usual though. Mercy spent the night a few weekends ago, and Donovan continues to grow cuter by the day. Mercy is growing like a weed (she is going to pass me up soon) and her sweet little spirit always brightens my day. Donovan absolutely loves being held, and sometimes does what my sister and I call “the-world-is-ending-face” when he isn’t held, which is so funny. He is very observant, curious, and sweet. He is such a bundle of love.

We also flew down to LA last week (check out our VLOG) and worked from the Venice Beach office, which is by far one of the coolest offices. It is right on Venice Beach and the food is sooo fresh and healthy! We were able to squeeze in a day of random LA sightseeing adventures with my sister last Sunday too, which was a bonus. We went to OUE Sky Slide and Grand Central Market in downtown LA, then ventured to Hollywood (went to the wax museum, Guinness Records museum, and Ripley’s), before having dinner in Santa Monica. We stayed in Marina del Rey and walked to the office every day which did wonders for my mood (not having to drive or sit in traffic is the key to a long. healthy life). And I got to try some amazing acai bowls (my favorite food) which was a plus. All in all, it was such a good change of pace and made me a little nostalgic for our old sunny San Diego days! Xoxo
