Galavanting around NYC

Fall and early winter was a busy time this year (plus it has been absolutely freezing) but I managed to spend time with Sam preparing for her wedding next year, doing some Aritzia shopping, and taking Rocket to Petco. Derek and I also saw lots of movies and McNally bookstore outings (our favorite winter activity) and finally went to the top of One World Trade Center (the view was amazing)!

Solo Trip to martha’s vineyard

I also snuck in a very quick one-night trip to Martha’s Vineyard one weekend. It was so beautiful and charming there! I’ve always wanted to see it and I’m so glad I went (even though I had to cut it short by a night due to a storm). I spent the day walking to the famous Jaws bridge, exploring the very expensive shops, and just enjoying the time to myself. It was exactly the kind of calm and quiet that my nervous system needed. I stayed at a gorgeous hotel (Harbor View Hotel) and it felt like I was in a Ellen Hilderbrand novel!
