Sisters Are Forever

I knew my sister would be coming home this past weekend while my parents were on vacation so I planned the ultimate sister extravaganza. It involved all of my sister's favorite things. I took Friday off from work so that we could have more time to explore and it was definitely worth it. I am not sure I can express through words how much my sister means to me. Spending time with her, just the two of us, is truly one of my favorite things to do. She lights up this world with her beauty and humor. If there's one thing I know to be true, it's that sisters are forever. Xoxo

Tofu House

After grabbing my sister from the airport Thursday night, I took her to her favorite restaurant for dinner: Tofu House. She was so excited to be reunited with her ideal meal!

Baker Beach

On Friday we drove to Baker Beach in SF. It just so happened to be the most clear and sunny day, giving us the PERFECT view of the Golden Gate Bridge! We were so excited by how close we were to the bridge (photos don't do it justice). My favorite part was when we were walking along the beach and my sister said, "Oh my gosh, I thought those people were naked for a second." Five minutes later, as we got closer to the rocks, we realized that they were BUTT naked! Turns out, Baker Beach is a nude beach too. So it's safe to say that "the views" here are quite literally jaw dropping.... :-)

Underground Dungeon at Fisherman's Wharf

After the beach we ventured into SF to walk around the wharf, one of my sister's favorite places. Right when we got there she saw this Underground Dungeon experience and we spontaneously decided to do it! It was a mix of a horror/historical immersive walking experience where they did these scenes and skits from what it was like in 1848 in San Francisco, but with a really scary/dark twist. We screamed and jumped so many times! It was so fun. There was a small water boat ride and a 30ft drop zone ride at the end, which was also really cool. After, I got her a chocolate covered banana from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory - her favorite treat. She was so happy!

Vitality Bowls

We have been dying to try a new smoothie bowl place and we finally went! The bowls were huge and really yummy. The perfect summery treat after a long day in SF!

Terrarium Class / Plant Nite

Saturday night we made terrariums! It was such a fun class, and so cool to have all of the materials there and ready to compile. After writing our sayings on our chalkboards, we filled up the boxes with soil and small plants. At the end we played a trivia and winners got extra embellishments like butterflies and lady bugs for our terrariums. We also each got to write a word on our "inspiration rocks". For my rock, I wrote "dream" and my sister's rock said "hope". I am slightly obsessed with my terrarium. It's currently sitting in my window sill and I can't stop peeking at it!
