Spring Break in Toronto & Montreal
While most people laid on sunny beaches and soaked up vitamin D, we decided to continue our Canada adventures with a trip to Montreal & Toronto. I have always wanted to visit Toronto and am so glad that it is now officially checked off my list! We started with a few nights in Montreal, where it was about 15 degrees, snowing, windy and pretty much felt like a frozen tundra. We were both pretty exhausted from work, so our time there felt a little bit like we were in a daze. However, we were able to get some good walks in (despite the cold) and it definitely had a European vibe with all the French.
The rest of our trip was spent in Toronto, where the weather was slightly warmer (honestly, anything about 30 degrees feels warm to us now). We walked a lot and really loved Kensington / Chinatown area (had the absolute best smoothie bowl there), seeing Lake Ontario, exploring St Lawrence Market, discovering the most delicious biscotteria, seeing the Toronto sign, and trying so many different fresh juices and chocolates. I was able to read a lot but was too tired to take a lot of pictures! Overall it was a great trip and we especially loved Toronto… big cities by the water are my favorite!
At this point, I feel like I’ve seen a lot of Canada and it has been so fun exploring our friendly neighbor to the north! Xoxo
