Wedding Weekend in Madrid

It’s officially wedding season — and we flew to Madrid the weekend following my sister’s wedding shower to attend Jade and Felipe’s gorgeous wedding. It was a weekend to remember! We took a red eye to Madrid from NYC on Thursday night, landed Friday morning, took naps, and then went to the wedding Friday night. In true Spanish fashion, the buffer dinner did not start until close to midnight!

It was a stunning wedding; the ceremony, speeches, and vows made me cry. The decor was absolutely gorgeous; and the Lebanese drummers and dancing were sensational! We had a great time hanging out with all of Derek’s MBA friends dancing the night away. We didn’t go to sleep until after 3am that night. But we got to spend the whole next day walking around Madrid and soaking up the sunshine before flying back Sunday morning. Such a memorable (although tiring) weekend — and so excited for our dear friends (the perfect pair!). My heart feels so full! Xoxo
